Blue Dog Arts opened in October of 2007 to share the arts with neighbors and friends. Located at 333 Delaware Avenue, Blue Dog Arts features a retail store filled with art supplies, gifts and jewelry created by local artists, Fair Trade beads, jewelry, journals and more. Our Business

The mission of Blue Dog Arts is to offer a welcoming, child friendly space that encourages and embraces the arts. We believe that everyone is an artist, and that all should be given the chance to express themselves through art. Blue Dog Arts invites local artists to sell their art in the retail space, and encourages children to join in one of the many fun workshops offered at Blue Dog. Blue Dog Arts is a place that respects the joy, friendships, fun, and healing experienced through the arts.

Who We Are

Owners Bob and Tracie Killar, along with their children, welcome you to Blue Dog Arts. Bob and Tracie have incorporated the arts into all aspects of their lives, and have great appreciation for the arts and the positive impact of the arts. Bob and Tracie opened Blue Dog Arts because they wanted to share the arts with others, were eager to offer more art opportunities during non-school hours to children, and wanted to create a space that was welcoming to all.

Each day, you will find Tracie or Bob at the shop. You may also meet their son Kevin, age 16, son Jude, age 11, or daughter Lily, age 10, pitching in at Blue Dog Arts. The family was eager to open a business in the town of Bethlehem, where they have lived for the past 14 years, and share the arts with neighbors and friends in and around town.

In addition, Bob and Tracie are especially committed to offering an inclusive enviroment where all are welcomed and encouraged to participate. Taught daily lessons by their son Jude, who has Down syndrome and other special needs, Bob and Tracie recognize that it is difficult to sometimes find a place where children with unique abilities fit in, have fun, make friends, and are embraced.
